Tinubu presides over FEC meeting

President Bola Tinubu is currently presiding over a meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The meeting is being attended by Vice President Kashim Shettima, along with other cabinet members.

Before the meeting commenced, President Tinubu administered the oath of office to the newly appointed Head of Service (HoS), Didi Esther Walson-Jack.

Her predecessor, Folashade Yemi-Esan, was present to witness the ceremony.

Yemi-Esan had served as the Head of the Civil Service from September 18, 2019, initially in an acting capacity, before her official swearing-in on March 4, 2020, following the suspension of Winifred Ekanem Oyo-Ita. Yemi-Esan has now proceeded on mandatory retirement.
