Tinubu, PDP congratulate Oborevwori on birthday

President Bola Tinubu has extended his warm congratulations to the Governor of Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori, on his birthday.

A statement issued on Wednesday by Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity), informed that the president joined family, friends, and the people of Delta State to celebrate Oborevwori on this special occasion.

The president commended the governor for his pursuit of development-focused governance, particularly his prioritisation of education as a means of addressing fundamental societal challenges.

He wished Oborevwori good health and renewed strength in the service of Delta State.

In a related development, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has congratulated Oborevwori, describing him as a humble, focused, visionary and result-oriented leader; a man of integrity and a seasoned administrator who continues to demonstrate an incomparable commitment to ensuring the progress, wellbeing and development of Delta State, the PDP and the Nation.

The PDP in a statement by its national spokesman, Debo Ologunagba, noted that as the

speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly and now democratically elected, “Oborevwori is unwavering in his abiding love and selfless service to the people, as evident in his life-enhancing legislation and governance policies in Delta State.”

The statement said the party is proud of the governor’s “MORE Agenda of Meaningful Development, Opportunity for All, Realistic Reforms, and Enhanced Peace and Security, with which he is delivering impactful citizen empowerment, human capital, and infrastructural development projects in all sectors of life in line with the manifesto and policy thrust of the PDP.”

As the PDP family celebrated Governor Oborevwori’s special day, they prayed to God to grant him many more years of sound health and vigour in the service of Delta State, the nation, and humanity.
