PRESIDENT Bola Tinubu and Oyo State governor, Seyi Makinde have congratulated Bishop Francis Wale Oke on his re-election as the national president of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN).
Bishop Oke, respected religious leader and author, who is also the presiding bishop of Sword of the Spirit Ministries International, was re-elected as president of the religious body at the 18th Biennial National Conference in Abuja.
President Tinubu, in a statement by his spokesman, Bayo Onanuga, also congratulated the Christian faithful, while he equally commended Bishop Oke for his consistent effort in promoting religious harmony and national renaissance, as demonstrated in his ‘Nigeria Turning Point Prayer Movement.’
The president described the renowned cleric as a man of fine character, principle, and faith and encourages him to continue using the pulpit to teach the good gospel of love, kindness, and peace as embodied by Jesus Christ.
He prayed for the bishop’s fresh anointing as he continues his leadership role in the Lord’s vineyard.
In the same vein, Governor Makinde also congratulated Bishop Francis Wale Oke, on his re-election describing the development as an affirmation of God’s grace and the Bishop’s excellent leadership of the PFN in the last four years.
Makinde, who wished Oke another successful tenure, equally appreciated other leaders and members of the PFN for their support and cooperation with Bishop Oke over the last few years.
He urged them to continue to work in unity for the expansion of the kingdom and the continued success of the Fellowship.
