Tinubu lauds massive transformations at Federal Cooperative College Enugu

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has lauded the management and staff of the Federal Cooperative College, Oji River, Enugu State, for what he described as massive transformations in the institution’s academic, infrastructural, and administrative landscape.

Speaking through the Honourable Minister of State for Agriculture and Food Security, Senator Dr Aliyu Sabi Abdullahi, during a working visit to the college on Thursday, Tinubu expressed satisfaction with the quality of both academic and non-academic staff, noting that the serenity of the campus environment made it highly conducive for learning and academic excellence.

The President, while commending the existing infrastructure, acknowledged the need for additional amenities, pledging that the college would benefit from further development as part of his administration’s reforms in the cooperative sector, subject to the availability of resources.

He praised the college’s prudent use of its allocations, highlighting that the institution has demonstrated commendable financial discipline and prioritised value-driven initiatives aligned with its mandate and service to the host community.

According to him, “if the cooperative movement in the host community becomes strong, the prosperity in the area will be massive,” underscoring the college’s growing impact.
