Tinubu has good intention for Nigeria – Cleric

A renowned cleric, Prophet Sam Olu Alo, has called on Nigerians to pray for the success of President Bola Tinubu’s administration, emphasizing the importance of divine guidance in leadership, especially in 2025.

Speaking at Jesus City along the Lekki-Epe Expressway during a program, Alo, who is the Planter of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Adamimogo Grace of Mercy Prayer Mountain Worldwide, urged Nigerians to support their leader through prayers, seeking God’s wisdom for governance.

He said, “Nigerians should continue supporting President Bola Tinubu with prayers. The President has good intentions; he is not happy with the current hardship facing the nation.

“Despite the hardship, if those we voted for and put our trust in know why we put them there, Nigerians will continue to pray for them. Not everybody liked Awolowo’s policies. He would have become President if all Nigerians had supported him, but people began to recognize his value after his death.”

Alo emphasized that praying for President Tinubu’s success is a way for Nigerians to show their support and seek divine wisdom for governance.

“Elected officials should see their current position as an opportunity and not their right. Some people are far better than them but don’t have the privilege they have.

“Men of God should also continue praying for the government. We should not abuse them but correct them. Let’s always say positive things about our nation. Citizens of developed countries always speak positively about their nations.”

The cleric also highlighted the role of agriculture in national development, encouraging Nigerians, particularly the youth, to return to farming.

“All Nigerians have a role to play. Most of us should go back to farming. The government also needs to encourage people, particularly the youth, to return to agriculture.”

During the service, Prophet Alo presented a professional toolkit to Olasunkanmi Ayoade, a former trainee under his vocational empowerment program, as part of his commitment to skill development and economic empowerment.

In his remark, the United Kingdom-based, Pastor, Dr. Dele Osunmakinde who was also at the gathering for personal retreat described Prophet Olu Alo as man of God with honour, humility, anointed by the Spirit of God and a man of integrity, saying one of the things that attract him with the cleric was his humility and the fact that he loves people.

He said, “I’m the pastor of the Envoy Nation in the UK. Look at what happened to Dennis in this city, look at how Prophet took it personal. He’s always all out, reaching out to people, supporting people and helping people, and that is a very good one about him.
