Tinubu congratulates Shettima on birthday

President Bola Tinubu has sent heartfelt congratulations to Vice-President Kashim Shettima, GCON, on the occasion of his 58th birthday. Shettima, who has had a distinguished career as an academic, banking professional, and leader, is celebrated for his impactful contributions to Nigerian governance.

From 2011 to 2019, Shettima served as the governor of Borno State before representing Borno Central in the Nigerian Senate from 2019 to 2023. His leadership, academic prowess, and commitment to public service have earned him recognition and respect across the country.

In a statement, President Tinubu expressed his admiration for Shettima’s enthusiasm, vigor, and affability, which have significantly enriched governance in Nigeria. The President highlighted the Vice-President’s remarkable ability to inspire and lead effectively.

 

Joining family, friends, and members of the executive branch, President Tinubu celebrated Shettima’s achievements and contributions. He extended wishes for robust health and renewed strength as Shettima continues his service to the nation.
