Tinubu capable of delivering on Buhari presidential campaign ― BOHM

A group, Buhari/Osinbajo Hope Movement (BOHM), has applauded the choice of National Leader of All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as co-chairman of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, saying he has the pedigree of delivering good results in such rigorous tasks.

National Coordinator of the group, Mr Seyi Bamigbade, stated this in a statement made available to newsmen in Lagos on Monday, assuring that the former Lagos State Governor would not disappoint the party and its standard bearer, President Muhammadu Buhari, in the polls given his vast political structure and tenacity.

This was just as he urged Nigerians to appreciate President Buhari for his decision to concentrate on his job rather than focusing on electioneering campaign rather than criticizing Tinubu’s role as co-chairman of the campaign group.

Bamigbade said with the appointment of Tinubu, the opposition political parties were already jittery and disturbed, declaring that there couldn’t have been a better choice to head the APC presidential campaign council for the forthcoming elections at a time the party was going into the general elections.

“You can see how the opposition parties are jittery over the role Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has been asked to play. That is why they are disturbed. There couldn’t have been a better choice to head the APC presidential campaign council for the forthcoming elections than Tinubu at a time the party is going into the general elections.

“This is the man that does not believe in failure. He was alone in the opposition for years he was not darting from one political party to the other. He eventually made it to the top and his party is a ruling party presently in the country,” BOHM national coordinator said.

Bamigbade described President Buhari as a very meticulous leader and must have considered so many factors before designating Tinubu to lead the consultation, reconciliation and confidence-building efforts in the APC last year, saying his political stand was able to resolve all the intra-party feuds in the APC.

He added that, “if Tinubu could lead the APC reconciliation committee successfully, a party that was already fractured, we have no doubt that he will repeat this same feat of keeping the party as one and helping President Buhari to win the coming presidential election in his capacity as co-chairman of the party’s campaign train,” he asserted.

Bamigbade, who also lauded the Special Adviser to the President on Politics, Senator Babafemi Ojudu, for his leadership roles towards ensuring that the Buhari/Osinbajo Hope Movement achieve its mandate of fully mobilising the people, said the group was more focused on the grassroots in all the 774 Local Councils in the country.
