The meeting, which was a prelude to Tuesday’s National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the party, had on its agenda two main issues including consideration of party constitutional amendment and consideration of the report of the committee set up by the party on true federalism.
It was attended by the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo; Senate President, Bukola Saraki; Secretary to Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha; state governors, members of the APC National Working Committee (NWC), and other party chieftains.
National Leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, was absent as at the time the meeting went into closed session.
