Nigerian actor and filmmaker, Charles Granville, has passed away after a protracted illness.
According to a statement by the family, the ‘Tinsel’ actor died “after a protracted illness on Thursday the 21st of September, 2023.” The statement signed by a family member, Iyenemri Somiari Granville, added that “funeral arrangements will be communicated in due course.”
Before his death, Charles was a multi-faceted artist of many talents. He was an actor, songwriter, musician, and filmmaker. Until his death, Granville led the Advisory Committee on Arts and Entertainment.
His filmography includes ‘Last Flight To Abuja’, ‘Impossible Relationships’, ‘Dowry Man’ and a soon-to-be-released movie ‘Locked’.
