Grammy Award-winning singer, Tim Kubart, and his Space Cadets band, are gearing up to bring their music to Lagos on April 26, at a concert organised by the U.S. Mission Nigeria to mark World Intellectual Property Day.

Also joining the Grammy award-winning band are some popular Nigerian artistes, like Iyanya, Bisola Aiyeola, and Jeff Akoh.

The event, organised by U.S. Mission Nigeria in collaboration with leading talent agency and event firm, Temple Management Company (TMC), promises  to be a night of music, fun, and enlightenment.

Director of Communication, TMC, Terfa Tilley-Gyado, said: “It is an honour to work with the U.S. Embassy on this important project. This is the second time we are collaborating with the U.S. Mission in Nigeria and we promise a very fun night.

“The concert will be open to all and sundry at the Freedom Park, Lagos.”

U.S. Ambassador W. Stuart Symington stated that the concert would highlight the creative energy of Nigerian and American artistes on World Intellectual Property Day, adding, “it also recognises the importance of copyright in encouraging creative expression.  Legal protections incentivize people to produce and share the work that contributes to our countries’ cultural and economic power.”

Meanwhile, sensational Temple Music singer and performer, Iyanya, has released the audio and visuals of his new single, Biko.

The video, which was shot in the serene capital of Cross River State, Calabar, by Temple Motion Pictures, showcases a creative blend of the rich Efik culture and style.

The new video, currently enjoying airplay on major music channels and online, is the latest single from Iyanya, in addition to three successful albums released in 2009, 2013, 2015 and an EP in 2017.
