Thugs allegedly dressed in police uniform attack Makinde’s hotel in Lokoja

SOME suspected thugs allegedly dressed in police uniforms reportedly invaded the Sutoria hotel where Oyo state Governor Seyi Makinde lodged at Lokoja, the Kogi State capital.

It was reliably gathered that the invaders surrounded the hotel in the early hours of Friday claiming to have information that thugs from Ibadan were lodging in the hotel.

The state Police Commissioner, Hakeem Busari, who confirmed the incident to Tribune Online on phone said the command had the information and immediately deployed officers to the place to clear it of the thugs masquerading as police officers.
