The police on Thursday arraigned Mukaila Oriyomi, 22, Akpan Udaeze, 20 and Wale Suarts, 20, in an Okitipupa Chief Magistrates’ Court in Ondo State for allegedly stealing three kegs of palm oil worth N19,500.
The defendants are charged with three counts of felony, burglary and theft.
The Prosecution Counsel, Insp. Zedekiah Orogbemi told the court that the defendants on Jan. 17, around 5 a.m at Ademodu area, on the Okitipupa-Ore road in Okitipupa, conspired to commit a felony.

He said that the defendants broke into the house of one Akinmusayo Obatimehin and stole the three kegs of palm oil.
The offence, he said, contravened the provisions of sections 516, 412 and 390(9), Criminal Code, Cap.37, Vol.1, Laws of Ondo State 2006.
The defendants, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
Chief Magistrate Musa Al-Yunus admitted the defendants to bail in the sum of N100,000 each and one surety each in like sum.
He adjourned the case until March 3 for further hearing.
