At least three indigenes of the Enugwu-Ukwu community were killed on Monday over land dispute by individuals suspected to be from the neighboring Nawfia community.
Both Enugwu-Ukwu and Nawfia are neighboring communities in the Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State.
A source told Nigerian Tribune that the two communities have been in conflict over land for some time.
On Monday, some unidentified Nawfia indigenes allegedly lured members of the Enugwu-Ukwu community to the disputed land through a phone call and attacked them.
