On the threat to Igbo in the North

Published by

Recently, there were reports that some northern youths asked the Igbo people to leave the northern parts in the country and go back to their various states.

I would  like to make an appeal to the government to intervene in this pressing issue and also work towards settling whatever looks like a conflict between the Igbo and the northerners.

My view is that every citizen belonging to any ethnic group in Nigeria should have the right to settle in any part of the country. We should see ourselves as one nation and there should be no segregation .

We need to continue to emphasise the fact that we need peace, love and unity to make this nation move forward and become better.

Let the security agencies put in more efforts to stop violence and hostility among ethnic groups in the country. Let’s strive to live in peace.
