There is no profit in insulting Nigerian leaders — Bauchi commissioner

The people of Bauchi have been charged to support and assist the newly appointed state commissioners with prayers instead of insulting leaders for the progress of the State.

The disclosure was made by the chairman of the Ulama Council Zama’atul Izalatul Bid’ah Wa’ikamatus Sunna JIBWIS, Toro chapter, Mallam Usman Yusuf Tilde during their visit to the new Bauchi commissioner of health, Dr Adamu Umar Sambo in his residence at Magama Gumau ahead of today’s swearing-in ceremony.

Malam Yusuf who attributed insult as the major cause of the hardship Nigerians are undergoing, charged the people of Bauchi and Nigeria at large to desist from insulting leaders for the progress of the state, and added that no profit would be derived from insulting leaders instead of crippling the entire nation’s economy.

“The hardship we are going through is a result of the high level of insults on our leaders, many people have no job apart from insulting leaders. This is also condemnable in Islam and there is no profit in doing so, instead, it would retrogress the entire nation’s economy,” he said.

In his remark, the Honourable Commissioner of Health, Dr Adamu Umar Sambo, expressed his delight and promised to use judiciously the advice given to him as well as work hard to transform the state health sector in no time to attain the dream of Bala Muhammad Abdulkadir for making Bauchi great.

“I’m very happy to receive you this evening as a delegation from the renowned Islamic movement of Jama’atul Izaltul Bid’ah Waika’matus Sunna, Toro Chapter, under the leadership of Malam Usman Yusuf Tilde, and I promised to make use of your advice judiciously to transform the state health sector and work closely with everybody irrespective of religion, ethnicity and party affiliations to attain the dream of our boss, his excellency Bala Muhammad Abdulkadir, to make Bauchi great particularly the health sector.”

Similarly, he called on the JIBWIS Ulama Council, Toro chapter, to continue putting them and the entire nation in prayers to resuscitate peace in the State and Nigeria at large.

He also pleaded for their support and assistance in all ramifications.

The visit had in attendance, the deputy chairman of JIBWIS Nqtrs Jos, Ulamu Council Toro chapter, Malam Isah Tulu and Malam Muhammad Isah Police amongst others.
