There is hunger among politicians — Gov Kefas’ appointee

An appointee of Governor Agbu Kefas, Prince Bobga Nuyeba Suntai on Thursday, decried that politicians especially the yet-to-be-inaugurated appointees in Taraba state are hungry.

Suntai expressed worry that Governor Kefas has abandoned loyal party men who worked for his victory and called on the governor to inaugurate the appointees to alleviate the hunger.

Nigerian Tribune reports that Governor Agbu Kefas had four months ago, released a list of over 1000 political appointees who up till date, have not received letters of appointment.

Meanwhile, Prince Suntai noted in a press statement where he described himself as self appointed Public Relations Officer for Taraba State Association of Unconfirmed SAs, SSAs, and CSAs, that the governor’s action was a clear negligence of loyal party men.

“As a loyal PDP man who worked to ensure the victory of Governor Agbu Kefas, I must state here that politicians especially those of us who have not been inaugurated since appointed four months ago, are hungry. I want Governor Kefas to inaugurate the appointees and ease them from the situation.

“I must state here again that Governor Kefas has abandoned us who are loyal party men who worked for his victory. There is hunger among politicians and I want the governor to inaugurate the appointees.

“As a person, the governor may wish to exclude me from any benefit but he should prioritize the inclusion of loyal supporters.. Democracy is all about the people, and I want the governor to broaden his administration’s engagement beyond a select few individuals, claims to be technocrats. The worsening economic hardship in Taraba state is killing people” Mr Suntai decried.
