The Ibadan Social Media Festival, now in its second year, seeks to bring together, active social media users of all ages to harness the benefits of social media, learn, interact and network.

According to the organisers, they hope to reach out to the youths, who by statistics, are the largest users of social media as well as the older generation who embrace social media or who by chance depend on it for their businesses or personal development.

“The theme for this year’s event is ‘EVOLVE’. The idea is to propel attendees to stay relevant in a fast changing society by evolving. The event will take place on Saturday 17th of November, 2018 at Pentorise Event Centre, Bodija, Ibadan”, Paul Alasiri, one of the organisers said.
