Continued from last week

This holds true where themes are based heavily on prop design, music and lighting.

  • Design work – create designs concept and themes that are possible to construct. Some designs may be common but you can use your creative flair to give it a twist of originality. You need to have good knowledge of the types of materials, latest prop construction methods and lighting as well as good sound techniques at your fingertips so that you can create easily formed settings that are unique.
  • The systematic approach

Being creative is one thing and being systematic is another. As an event organiser you would know that there are many stages involved before the final presentation. Event management is all about event planning and the successful execution of the work order. The crucial item is the time constraint as you are working within a time frame and a dateline.

Part of the process to a successful and great event is to be organised. Having an event management system at your disposal is one way to manage the tasks at hand. An event management solution can help you organise and keep track of all the things you need to do. A good event solution should also be mobile and applicable on any handheld device aside from a laptop as you are always on the move. It should also be able to have a feature that can enable task sharing among your team members, or a sort of work flow tracking. Therefore, irrespective of your location, you keep working the bottom-line by being different and greatly successful with your events. Put all these methods together and ensure every step of the way you minimise mistakes and have cohesion in your planning and team organising. Be creative and of course, have a ball of a time. The difference between a good event and a great event is in the event management.
