UK based singer, Sean Dampte, has finally released the much-touted Extended Play (EP), which he entitled ‘The Awoodah Begins’.
Recall that the EP disappeared from all digital stores a few days after it’s initial release date, a situation which got fans and critics to agree that the team got it wrong. And with no reasons coming from Sean Dampte’s camp, many felt left out.
However, a source close to the team had revealed that Dampte’s team knew what they were planning and would act when it was right. All of a sudden, Dampte surprised all his fans during the week as he dropped the first video off the EP titled ‘No Be Joke’ to mark the return of ‘The Awoodah Begins’ EP to all digital and online stores/platforms.
And ever since the video has been released online, it’s views have incredibly increased, with fans giving encouraging comments.
According to Dampte: ” ‘No be Joke’ is the first video to be released off Sean Dampte’s debut EP ‘The Awoodah Begins’. The sound was produced by Joey Benks and mastered by DXL da Beat for Savage Music Inc. But the visual was shot in locations around London, UK and directed by renowned Video Director Doyin Ajakaye also known as Simplicity for DMA Studios.”
While speaking on what prompted the title of the EP, he said: “When I returned to music, I hear people say “Who is that?” and so that inspired me to coin the word Awoodah. The Awoodah Begins is just to announce that Sean Dampte is ready to take his fans and critic on a musical journey to last decades. This is the beginning,” he said.
