Teriba, Ifemide, Esther Igbekele, Iya Saudi, others to ignite Ijebu-Ode

The stage is set for the forth-coming Ijebu Praise Concert scheduled to hold today at the Dipo Dina Memorial Stadium, Ijebu-Ode in Ogun State as artistes like Lanre Teriba, Esther Igbekele, Bola Obi, Iya Saudi, Ifemide and Funmi Sennaike will lead many other talented Muslim and Christian gospel singers  in a first of its kind event packaged by Honourable Kehinde Odeneye, member Federal House of Representatives, Ijebu –Ode/ Odogbolu/Ijebu North-East Federal Constituency Ogun State.

The event which is already the talk of town in Ijebu and its environs, with many important personalities from various walks of life billed to be in attendance is expected to shake the sleepy town.

Speaking on the forthcoming event, Lanre Teriba aka Atorishe stated that he is honored to be among the first set of musicians that will herald this event “I am really happy to be part of this historical event, and I wish to be part of this for many years”

The convener of the event, Honourable Odeneye, also known as OK, on his part said that the purpose of the gathering is not for any political purpose but to unite Nigerians through worship and praises.

“I have said this many times that the purpose of this is to make us believe we serve one God and reduce religious crisis, it is not a political gathering. That is why we have gospel musicians from both Christian and Muslim religion and I can tell you that this is the first time such a thing will happen in this country. We are also given out souvenirs for people to take home,” he said
