Teniola, Kizz Daniel, Tonto Dike, Obesere, others make J Krue awards nominees’ list

Top Nigerian personalities will gather at this year’s edition of J Krue Awards, an all youth programme designed to reward successful and extraordinary people in their various fields of endeavour.

According to the convener, Mr Oladiti Omoyemi, this third edition would build on the success of previous ones, noting that top-notch brands and high society people have pledged their full support to make the edition bigger and prestigious.

“Most of the top brands and big shots in Nigeria that witnessed the successes of the previous ones are now interested in this year’s edition,” he told R.

Speaking about the award, he noted that “the only thing we have been doing is to celebrate those that have done well in their fields. That is why after the event, nobody criticizes any winner. Some of our recipients last year included: Annie Idibia, 2baba’s wife, she was very happy to receive the award; Juliet Ibrahim, Nkechi Blessing, Muyiwa Ademola, Kenny Blaq, Bred, among others were all appreciative of the accolade.”

For this year, some of the nominees in different categories include: Kizz Daniel, Teniola, Skiibii, Simi, Yinka Ayefele, Alh. Abass Akande Obesere PK1ST, Akin Alabi, Dapo Lam, Oluwo of Iwo and others.”

According to Omoyemi, there were 60 categories for this edition such as Best Artiste of the Year (Male and Female), Album of the year, Man of the year, Entrepreneur of the year, among others. He reiterated that most of the categories involve voting, while others are based on merit.”
