Telecom companies should improve service

Published by

There is a need for mobile telephone service providers to improve service delivery. The general public has been complaining of poor services from mobile telephone service providers ranging from lack of service to outrageous charges for long.

Senator Abdulfatai Buhari, the chairman, House Committee on Telecommunication and Cyber Cafe Matters, corroborated the poor services of these providers and advised them to live up to expectations.

Nigerian Consumer Protection laws should be enacted where sanctions will be meted to any erring telephone service providers. This will go a long way in improving their services and make the general public happy.
