TeeQ Bello: A top notch distinctive African star

Adetokunbo Ademola Bello fondly referred to as TeeQ Bello is a household name in the Nigerian music industry, he hails from Ogun State, Nigeria. The Indian-born Nigerian began his musical career at a tender age but started officially as part of the Ibadan legendary duo “Tee Two” who drop their first hit single “Say Gobe” in 2004 which gain a lot of airplay on radio stations all over the country, he later went on to start his career as a solo artist in 2007.

With a deep love for African music traditions, has a diversified distinct musical style that combines playful elements with introspective lyrics. His classical music influences, and unique vocal range, combined with magical sounds, create a captivating listening experience for his growing fan base.

In 2016, he released his first official EP titled “Eko+Ibadan” with the hit tracks “Eko+Ibadan”, “Ashabi” and “Your Way” which earned him significant recognition in the music industry as it raked in a massive amount of streams on different platforms and also enjoyed a massive amount of airplay on radio stations around the country and made it to the top of various charts including Twitter trends.

TeeQ Bello is a self-taught vocalist, producer and songwriter whose voice diversity ensures that he delivers heart-felt lyrics and enthusiastic sound of different variations which ensure that his music are continuously on repeat by his ever-increasing fans and listeners.

TeeQ Bello strongly believes that African music is a global sound and wants to use his ability to both write and produce as a way to help shape the culture and show its versatility.
