Tech expert unveils innovation to curb digital exclusion, language barrier

A tech expert, Adeola Smart Adeyemi, has introduced a groundbreaking technological solution, Tuvia, that aims to bridge the digital divide and empower marginalized communities in Nigeria.

With Nigeria’s rapidly expanding technology sector, this innovation has the potential to revolutionize digital accessibility for millions across the nation by bridging language barriers

This was contained in a statement, made available to pressmen, in Abuja.

A statement made available to journalists in Abuja said Nigeria boasts of a rapidly growing mobile phone market, yet a significant portion of the population remains digitally excluded due to language barriers.

“This is where Tuvia Tech steps in, offering smartphones like the “Tuvia Y-418″ that operates in four major Nigerian languages: English, Hausa, Igbo, and Yoruba. This groundbreaking feature removes a critical barrier, empowering millions to access information, education, and essential services in their native tongue,” the statement noted.

The statement further reads: “Adeyemi isn’t your average entrepreneur. A lawyer by training, she defied expectations by venturing into the tech world, determined to make a difference not just in the industry, but in the lives of Nigerians.

“Her brainchild, Tuvia Tech, is more than just a phone company; it’s a revolution waiting to happen, one powered by innovation and a deep understanding of her country’s needs.

“Adeola understands that technology shouldn’t be a one-size-fits-all solution. Tuvia Tech’s phones are designed with Nigerians in mind, incorporating features like long-lasting batteries, FM radio, and content partnerships with local creators.

“This focus on local relevance ensures the technology serves the community, not the other way around.

“Adeola’s vision extends beyond creating phones. Tuvia Tech is actively creating jobs in Nigeria, providing opportunities for software developers, engineers, and other tech professionals. This not only fuels the company’s growth but also contributes to the development of a robust tech ecosystem within the country.

“Adeola recognises the transformative power of technology. Through Tuvia Tech, she’s not just selling phones; she’s empowering individuals and communities. The company actively partners with educational institutions and NGOs to bridge the digital divide and equip Nigerians with the tools they need to thrive in the digital age.
