American singer and songwriter, Taylor Alison Swift, popularly known as Taylor Swift has solidified her reign as Spotify’s top global artist for the second consecutive year, with women artists taking centre stage in Spotify Wrapped 2024.
In a year marked by significant milestones for female creators, eight out of the 10 most-streamed albums globally were made by women, including three by Swift.
The 14-time Grammy winner amassed an impressive 26.6 billion streams in 2024 alone.
Swift’s influence was evident in the global album charts, where her anthology “The Tortured Poets Department” and the re-recorded 1989 (Taylor’s Version) dominated alongside her earlier release, Lover.
