Vemard Africa FC, a Nationwide League One (NLO) side will play host to Enyimba FC of Aba on Feb. 14 in their first major football match at their new base, NEROS Stadium in Orumba North Council Area of Anambra state.
Vemard, previously based in Enugu is packaging the grade A encounter with Peoples Elephant as the highpoint of the sensitisation activities to announce their arrival to the NEROS, Nanka as their new home.
Akonam Obiefuna, Director of Scorecard Productions, Consultants to Vemard Africa FC said former Super Eagles stars, Taribo West, Victor Ikpeba, others would participate in the game as special appearances.
Obiefuna said the club had to win the NLO and plying its trade in the Nigeria National League in 2020/2021 season as its immediate objectives.

He said recruitment of talented football stars would follow soon after the sensitisation match to beef up the squad ahead of the season as well as giving them the opportunity for international exposure.
