Taraba gov submits list of commissioner-nominees to assembly for screening

Taraba State governor, Dr Agbu Kefas, on Monday,  forwarded  21  names of Commissioner- nominees to  the state House of Assembly for screening.

Honourable  John Kizito Bonzena, speaker of the  assembly, announced the  governor’s communication at the floor of the House during plenary in Jalingo, the state capital.

The list as obtained by Nigerian Tribune has  Professor Nicholas Oliver Namessan, Mr George Peter, Mr Gideon Samuel Nonso, Dr Augustina Godwin, Naomi Tanko Agbu, Mrs Aishat Adul-Azzez  Barde, Dr Sarah Enoch Adi, Joseph Titus Nagombe and Dr Bodia Gbansheya Buma.

Others are Mrs  Zainabu Usman Jalingo, Yakubu Maikasuwa,  Mr Habu James Philip,  Julius Peter,  Saviour Badzoilig Noku, Dr Philister Ibrahim Musa, Mrs Mary Sinjen, Mr Daniel Ishaya,  Noseh Luka, Mr Joseph Joshua, Mr Usman Muslim Abdullahi and Mr Yakubu   Yakubu.

Nigerian Tribune  reported that   the governor  had earlier in June, directed the state’s Peoples Democratic Party  (PDP) to  unite with stakeholders at the grassroots to nominate credible men and women to be appointed cabinet members.
