Taraba can feed Nigeria if… – Primate Ayodele

The leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele has said Taraba has the potential to feed Nigeria and make the country free from hardship if the state governor, Agbu Kefas rises to his responsibilities.

He made this statement at the launch of his annual prophecy book titled Warnings To The Nations on Saturday, 6th of July, 2024.

Primate Ayodele asked the governor to sit tight because Taraba is like the biblical Canaan Land which is flowing with milk and honey.

He mentioned that the state has great resources that can lead to the nation’s development if well used.

‘’The governor of Taraba state, Agbu Kefas, needs to sit tight because he doesn’t seem to know what he is sitting on. Taraba state has the capacity to feed Nigeria due to its resources but if care isn’t taken, even the state will not be able to help itself.

‘’I would see Taraba state as the biblical Canaan land flowing with milk and honey, the state has so much capacity and can become Nigeria’s version of the USA if the resources are properly taken care of. Nigeria as a country needs to grow and Taraba state can be our focal point.’’

Primate Ayodele revealed that the governor doesn’t know what he has and that he needs like-minded people that can drive his goals.

He likened him to the biblical Pharaoh who needed Joseph to turn his state into one which would become a tourist centre for other people.

‘’It’s painful that the governor doesn’t know what he has, he needs the right people to work with him, it’s not about appointing several aides, he needs like-minded people, I know he has good plans for the people but without the right people to work with, they will drag him back.

‘’Kefas is like the biblical Pharaoh who needs a Joseph to actualize his dreams and plan well for the good people of Taraba state. If the resources are put to good use, Taraba state will be transformed within one year and the state will be feeding other states. He needs to look for a Joseph that can project the state’s capacity well. I also want to urge the people of the state not to fight their governor but help and pray for him.’’

Furthermore, Primate Ayodele urged the federal government to partner with the state for the benefit of Nigerian citizens.

‘’I want to urge the federal government of Nigeria to work with Taraba state because Nigeria’s helper is laying there, we can solve electricity issues from Taraba state, hunger can be destroyed from Taraba state and I am sure that between now and next year August, Taraba can become a mini-London if the resources are well used.’’
