The National Examinations Council (NECO) has on behalf of the Management and Staff of the Council, expressed its condolence to the Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, and the families of the victims of the tanker explosion that claimed many lives at Dikko Junction on Saturday.
In a statement by the Acting Director, Information and Public Affairs Department of the Council, Malam Azeez Sani said the Registrar/Chief Executive, Professor Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi has expressed deep shock and sadness over the Petrol Tanker Explosion that claimed so many lives at the Dikko Junction on Saturday.
The Registrar beseeches Allah to grant the souls of the victims eternal rest, he also called on Road users to be more cautious, noting that the disaster could have been averted if the tanker drivers had adhered to traffic regulations.
Professor Wushishi prayed for the quick recovery of those who sustained injuries in the inferno.
