Tanker explosion: Gov Bago condoles with Jigawa govt, people

Niger State Governor, Umaru Bago has expressed grief over the explosion of a petrol tanker, in Jigawa State, leading to the death of over 150 people.

The Governor in a message by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, condoled with the government and people of Jigawa State over the incident which he described as “heartbreaking and unfortunate.”

He said, ” it is indeed a trying moment for the government and people of Jigawa State.

“I share in your pains and griefs. My prayers and that of every Nigerlites are with you.

“I pray that Allah will repose the souls of the departed, grant healing to those that sustained injuries as well as comfort the families of the victims.”
