Katsina State governor, Alhaji Aminu Masari, his Sokoto State counterpart, Governor, Honourable Aminu Tambuwal and the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, on Wednesday condoled with  Governor Rauf Aregbesola of Osun over his mother’s death, saying he should take solace in the fact that the deceased led a fulfilled life.

The two northern state governors and the traditional ruler made this remark when they paid a condolence visit to Aregbesola over the death of his mother, Alhaja Saratu Aregbesola.
In his remark,  Masari described death as the only natural phenomenon whose power of exigency in taking souls is beyond human imagination, stressing that Alhaja Saratu Aregbesola was taken at the best time.
According to him, “death is certain. It comes at any time. It strikes at any time and the loss of one’s beloved used to be painful because death is the ultimate reward of every soul. Although, the loss of one’s mother can never be compared with any other loss in life because of the utmost affinity and love that a child shares and receives from mother.”

“So, for this, we join the rest of the people across the world to condole with you at this very significant moment over the death of your mother.
“We pray God to repose her soul and count her among those that will gain Paradise hereafter,” Masari asserted.
Tambuwal, in his submission described death as the only inevitable thing in life, saying every soul will definitely die as there is no shortcut to death, just as he commended Aregbesola for providing a good leadership in the state, saying his role in nation’s building is phenomenal.
Also, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, described Governor Aregbesola as a symbol of childhood to parents, noting that the  demise of his mother was a colossal loss to the state.

He said Aregbesola had distinguished himself as a child whose passion for his parents’ well-being can never be undermined, as it was manifested in his love and compassion for his mother while alive.
Oba Ogunwusi stated that “one lesson which I want everyone of us to learn from the demise of Aregbesola’s mother is the respect he gives to motherhood.
Aregbesola has demonstrated high sense of respect, love, care and regard to his mother. He has shown to the world why love should be given to one’s mother at times.”
