Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal mourns the loss of his brother, Alh. Ahmad Ibrahim Tambuwal, who on Saturday, passed away in Abuja after a brief illness.
Tambuwal, the immediate past governor of Sokoto State, in a statement made available, said, “Late Alh. Ahmad was more than a brother to me; he was a dear friend and trusted confidant.”

The funeral prayers were conducted at the Palace of the District Head of Tambuwal Local Government, and Alh. Ahmad was subsequently buried in accordance with Islamic rites on Sunday morning.
Among the dignitaries who attended the funeral was the former Governor of Zamfara State, Mamuda Aliyu Shinkafi, former Deputy Governor of Sokoto State, Manir Muhammad Dan’iya, traditional rulers, religious leaders, political associates, family, and friends.
