Take advantage of globalisation to scale your businesses, Pelican Valley CEO charges students

The Chief Executive Officer of Pelican Valley Nigeria Limited, Dr Babatunde Adeyemo, encouraged students and youths in Nigeria to leverage globalization and digital platforms to expand their business ventures. He emphasized that through these platforms, innovative products, services, and talents could reach global markets and audiences for maximum visibility and returns. Dr. Adeyemo shared his own experience, noting that despite operating locally in Ogun State, the majority of his clients were Nigerians in the diaspora.

During the 40th investiture and convention ceremony of Junior Chamber International (JCI) Nigeria, held at Moshood Abiola Polytechnic Abeokuta, Dr. Adeyemo received an Outstanding Personality Award for serving as an inspiration to the nation’s youths. The event’s theme was “Exploring the Digital Job Market Techniques for Enhancing Employability.”

Dr. Adeyemo urged students to build a solid foundation and emphasized the importance of consistency in their ventures. He highlighted the opportunities provided by globalization, encouraging them to take advantage of online platforms and foreign IT training firms.

Other speakers at the event, including entrepreneur Mr. Babatunde Denton and public speaker/creative writer Mr. Habeeb White, also provided advice to students. Mr. Denton encouraged the use of Google for recognition, while Mr. Habeeb White advised students to discover themselves and be creative to stand out among their peers.
