Sweeter than swive (1)

PURPOSE 

Life is not about your mating ability, it is about animating your abilities.

This article intends to promote positive habits and entrepreneurial abilities among the youths, as well as encourage them to embrace leadership as a catalyst for personal and national transformation.

I stood at the entrance of a hospital when an accident victim was brought into the emergency unit. This young man was writhing in pain and soaked in blood around his private part. Then I heard a doctor who came close to examine the situation say “cut it off!” What?! His private part would be cut off due to the degree of injury he had sustained. Waoh! Is it the end? I pondered and wondered about what would be this man’s relevance again in life.

I have seen and met beautiful and handsome adults, who for one reason or another, are unmarried and unworried. I know of people who have never known the pleasure of s3x and some, who will or may never be able to make love again. I have heard of teenagers who were sexually abused and later became addicted to sex. This happened to me also. There is hope for you too. In a similar vein, I have seen young adults who are addicted to sex and substance abuse for no reason. They see it as a normal thing and say Y.O.L.O (You Only Live Once). While I am not trying to condemn them, my submission is that there is something sweeter than sex and stronger than drugs. It isn’t a hard pill to swallow, please follow me.

As a full-grown and ‘fully’ married man, I really love sex. But ask my wife, she will tell you I actually live for impact and not fame, money or pleasure. Life is not about your mating ability, it is about animating your abilities and taking responsibilities. I have coined the word ‘satisfunction’ to describe the satisfaction that comes with living purposefully and making impact. There is nothing as sweet as being the sweetness and salt of the world. There is nothing as pleasurable as using your good image to influence positive habits and abilities.

Now let’s give it an entrepreneurial touch. You are either making impact or you are making love. Don’t take that too seriously though. “You are either on a mission, running with a vision or burning with a passion.” – Dr David Oyedepo. Entrepreneurship is more than a passion to create value; it is a journey of self-discovery and discipline. This explains why an entrepreneurial community is either strong or weak. No one can become an entrepreneur in one week. Entrepreneurship is a function of the entrepreneur. Qualitative entrepreneurial activities require an immersion (deep mental involvement). It is an ‘addiction’ and a commitment to Achieve, Birth, Create or Discover something (A, B, C, D). I love CHILDREN for their curiosity, happiness, innocence, loveliness, dreams, readiness, energy and naivety. These are virtues ‘little’ Elon Musk, Richard Branson, Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, including you were born with. I have seen children who no longer possess these virtues and adults who have not lost them. These are recipes for greatness.

Living a good exemplary life means living a life that sets a positive example for others to follow. This includes living with integrity, being honest and ethical in all your dealings, treating others with respect, being kind and generous and striving to make the world a better place.

Entrepreneurship is a spirit, leadership is its soul while the society is its body. Without the spirit, the body is dead. Without the soul, the spirit is empty.

Character is never erected on a neglected conscience. You don’t have to remain bad, think of what you would like to be remembered for (a blessing or a burden?). Please ensure you are not primarily living for pleasure, rather for impact and excellence. Sweetness is sweeter than sex. A purpose-driven life is not only sweet, it is fulfilling. It is a feeling of fullness (youthfulness and usefulness). You are amazing, brave, courageous and dependable. I believe in you. The world is waiting for your manifestation. Your country needs your contribution.

A man’s worth is not in what he has, it is in what he adds. You may ‘have’ cancer and have an answer to a global challenge. You are not worthless. You are loaded and needed. “Live loaded and die empty.”
