SWAGA donates relief materials to APC supporters, groups in Plateau

The leadership of the South-West Agenda for Asiwaju 2023 (SWAGA) has donated relief materials worth millions of naira to supporters of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and other groups in Plateau State for voting for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the last February 25th presidential election.

Speaking shortly after the presentation of the materials in Jos, the National Chairman of SWAGA, Dayo Adeyeye, said the group embarked on a thank-you tour of the country in appreciation of the support and mandate given to the president on the platform of the APC.

Adeyeye, who said the people of the state and Nigeria as a whole gave the president overwhelming support during the election because of their belief in his ability to reposition the country, also assured that the president will not let the country down in actualizing his electoral promises.

“The national leadership is here in Jos, Plateau State, on a thank-you tour to appreciate APC supporters who voted for President Bola Tinubu because of their belief in his capacity to steer the affairs of the country.

“We are thanking the residents, especially APC supporters, for their support during the last presidential election. You are part of the success story, and we quite appreciate your efforts. Your doggedness, determination to deliver APC, and belief in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu contributed to the victory,” he said

He further assured the citizens of the state that more positive transformation is coming to the state with the implementation of the renewed hope agenda, adding that the support given to President Tinubu will not be a waste and that the support will not be taken for granted.

Also speaking, the Women Leader of SWAGA in Plateau State, Mrs. Ruth Kwarsen, who spoke on behalf of the beneficiaries, assured that APC supporters in the State strongly believe that President Tinubu will not let the country down.

Some leaders and stakeholders of the SWAGA project interacted with the supporters and urged them to continue supporting the administration of President Bola Tinubu. Highlights of the event included the distribution of palliatives to the representatives of various APC groups and supporters across the 17 council areas of the state.
