Suspected Kaduna Gun Runner Involved In Accident, Faces Tough Investigation

A suspected gun runner, Samuel Goni Sabo, who was involved in fatal car accident and  arms and ammunitions were discovered in his car along Gumel, Kachia local government area of Kaduna State is currently under investigation by security agencies.

This was even as he is still being detained while been giving medical attention.

This was made known by the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Kaduna Head of Operations, Salish Umar Galandanci on Wednesday.

Sabo, 56 is a youth leader and football coach in Kabala West and Unguwan Muazu communities where security agencies recently arrested 18 persons suspected to have been involved in the unrest in Kabala West and Ungwan Muazu.

According to security sources in Kachia town where Sabo was arrested said he purchased the guns and rifles from undisclosed location and was smuggling the rifles to Kaduna when his car involved in an accident at Kachia road injuring him.

He is also a football coach in the area. Sabo, who loaded his car with rifles after his accident along Kachia road was picked and he is in detention facing thorough investigation.”
