Suspected gunmen invade Oyo community, kidnap Tipper PMS Chairman

Suspected gunmen have reportedly kidnapped the Chairman of Oyo State Tipper, Lorry And Quarry Park Management System, Alhaji Akeem Akintola, popularly known as KUSO at Ajiboye area, Omi Adio in Ido local government area, Ibadan on Saturday.

The suspected gunmen, as reliably informed, stormed the community in the early hours of the day and subsequently abducted the victim.

The incident, which has thrown the entire community into a state of panic, is coming barely 24 hours after the kidnap of the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Lagos state along Lagos-Ibadan expressway.

Multiple sources have confirmed the incident, including a family member and associates who preferred not to be mentioned.

“The gunmen arrived earlier this morning and attacked him without any resistance before whisking him away.”

Efforts to reach the Police Public Relations Officer, Adewale Osifeso for confirmation proved abortive.

Friends, associates and lovers of the victim have, however, appealed to the public for any information about his whereabouts to reach out to the dedicated number: 08034345760 or the nearest police station.
