Suspected cultists kill one after church service in Benin

Armed men suspected to be members of a particular cult group reportedly killed a middle-aged man on Sunday in Benin City, the capital of Edo State.

The victim, identified as Ehis Dada, was allegedly shot dead by his assailants immediately after leaving a church located in the Amagba Community, where he had attended the Sunday Service.

A video of the horrific incident is currently circulating on various social media platforms, leaving the community in shock and disbelief.

The specific cult group responsible for the killing and the motive behind the murder have yet to be determined.

Concerns about the safety of worshippers in places of religious gathering have been raised by residents in the community.

The incident has sparked outrage among residents, who are calling for a thorough investigation to bring the culprits to justice.
