Osuji, who resides at No. 10, Adeyemi Street, Alapere, Ketu appeared on a four-count charge bordering on murder and belonging to an unlawful society.
His plea was not taken.
Insp. Cousin Adams, the prosecutor, told the court that the offences were committed on Aug. 21, 2017, at No. 3, Akinsoga Street, Bariga, Lagos.
He said that the accused, a member of the ‘Eiye confraternity’ had conspired with other cult members to stab to death, Mr Adegoke Odoro, 45, with a kitchen knife.

Adams said the offence contravened Sections 41, 42, 223 and 283 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
Magistrate A. Kusanu in a ruling, granted the accused a bail of N200,000, with two responsible sureties each who must have their addresses verified and show evidence of tax payment to the state government.
