Supreme court judgment affirms Gov Dapo’s popularity— Federal lawmaker, Ogunbanwo

The Member representing Ijebu Ode/Odogboolu /Ijebu North East Federal Constituency of Ogun State Hon. Femi Ogunbanwo, has hailed the Supreme Court verdict which upheld the election of the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun  saying that he verdict has further affirmed him popularity

 

This was contained in a statement made available to news men in Abuja on Saturday

 

The apex court had on Friday affirmed Governor Dapo Abiodun as the duly elected governor of Ogun State during the 2023 general elections.

 

Hon Femi said that he had always known that Governor Dapo’s popularity in Ogun State and the massive support given to him at the polls were organic and borne out of genuine love for him.

 

He said Governor Dapo Abiodun, who  performed excellently well in his first tenure, would now focus more on good governance of the state.

 

Hon Femi Ogunbanwo, who wished Governor Dapo a successful tenure, urged the people of Ogun State to continue to support and pray for his administration.

 

Hon Femi Ogunbanwo called on the people of Ogun State to continue giving Governor Dapo massive support, noting that they should expect than more dividends of democracy under the current administration.

 

According to him, ” now that the legal battle is over with the Supreme Court verdict, i want the opposition and all the stakeholders to team up with the governor for the rapid development of our beloved State because Our governor is tested and trusted person who will deliver the needed dividends of democracy to his people
