SUNU Group honours late founder, Pathe Dione, holds commemorative service

THE Management of SUNU Assurance Group in Nigeria has marked a special commemorative celebration in honour of the Founder of SUNU Group, late Pathe Dione, who died last year January 12.

The one-year transition commemorative celebrations featured a Mass in his memory at the Catholic Chaplaincy Centre, College of Medicine, Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi, Arabs, Lagos.

Also, a Koranic reading was held in his honour at the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) Mosque, Ahmadu Bello Way, Victoria Island, Lagos.

To highlight the life and career of Dione, a film on his life and career was shown at the Ebony Life Cinema at Adetokunbo Ademola Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Mr. Pathe Dione played an important role in the financial services sector, devoting his entire life to contributing to the development of African continent.

Some eminent personalities from financial services sector in Nigeria and other African countries participated in the events.
