A 40 year-old secondary school teacher, Femi (surname withheld), has allegedly committed suicide over yet to be identified reasons.
The image maker of Kano State police command, DSP Abdullahi Haruna, confirmed incident to Tribune Online, said, the deceased did not leave behind a suicide note.
A reliable source who preferred anonymity, also speaking with Tribune Online, said, the deceased a teacher on the payroll of Karish College, hanged himself with the ceiling fan hanged in his bedroom, which at his residence located at Dakata quarters, in Kano metropolis.
The source further disclosed that his corpse was later found by neighbours, who hurriedly reported the matter to police authorities in the area.
DSP Haruna speaking further said, the state police command had dispatched detectives to commence investigations to unravel the motives behind the suspected suicide action.
He added that his corpse of had been deposited at the morgue of Muritala Mohammed Specialist Hospital.
