As more Nigerians continue to express their resentment over the dwindling economy, popular actor, Yul Edochie, has urged the youth to shift their focus away from the government.
Edochie, son of veteran actor, Peter Edochie, took to his Twitter handle to bare his mind on the state of the country, adding that one of the best ways to survive in the country is to take one’s focus away from government.
The actor, who once contested for the number one seat of Anambra State, added that the best way to live in Nigeria is for one not to rely on government, but rather think of how one’s life could get better without the government.
In what looked like a subtle way of addressing the teeming Nigerian youths who keep looking up to the government for a way out, Edochie admonished them to find their God-given talent, horn their skills and look for ways to get better at their craft.
While urging them to stay close to God, he added that “Don’t rely on government. Think more of what you can do for yourself, for the people and even for the government. Hustle your own, be the best at what you do. Find your talent, nurture it and make money from it. Above all, stay close to God.”
