Stop re-election campaign, address Nigeria’s insecurity, Primate Ayodele tells Buhari

Published by

Following the repeated killings across various sections of the country with the most recent carnage in Plateau State, President Muhammadu Buhari has been called upon to halt his re-election campaign and address the herdsmen crises.

This was part of the charge given the president by the founder and spiritual head of Inri Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele.

The cleric, in an interaction with TribuneChurch, said he was pained by the killings going on in many parts of the country, insisting that he had forewarned the nation of these happenings in his earlier prophecies.

According to him, “I have repeatedly cautioned the Federal Government about the herdsmen crises. President Buhari should change his service chiefs. They don’t understand the security situation in the nation anymore. There is economic hardship in the country. He should stop re-election campaign and address the insecurity in the country. He is not in charge of the government. The cabal working against the nation’s interest has taken over the government.

“Nigeria should pray against more killings. We should also pray against train mishap in the country. Nigeria’s economy will get worse. The Lagos tanker explosion which claimed many lives will have a repeat except the Lagos State governor clears the bridge along the Western Avenue area and other major bridges in the state. More proactive measures should be taken to stop a repeat.”

Speaking further, he called on the Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi, to be firm and courageous in the face of opposition, saying that the traditional ruler has a major role to play in the wellbeing of Nigeria.

According to him, “The Ooni of Ife is a symbolic representative whose reign is important to Nigeria’s unity. He has a mission which preceding Oonis didn’t actualise; his reign would favour Nigeria. A new republic called the Republic of Oduduwa will emerge from Ife. He should be firm.”

On the international scene, he warned that an economic war would brew between China and the United States of America.

“At the global level, China and the United States of America will get into some form of misunderstandings which will lead to crisis between the two countries. President of Benin Republic will not have a second term in office. The country’s police will have just one formation. The nation should pray against mob killings,” he said.
