Peter Okoye of the Psquare brothers, has urged Nigerians to stop blaming celebrities for the country’s problem, saying such tantrums should be directed at the Federal Government.
He said it was wrong to say the celebrities contribute to the problems of the country by singing and working for the “money they earn from those who require their services.”
Sharing his thoughts on Instagram last week, Peter faulted claims that celebrities were benefitting from the ills in the society, adding that they worked hard for the money they enjoyed, warning those perpetrating the talks to desist from it.
“Celebs this, celebs that. Like seriously! Face the government. We didn’t steal the money we are enjoying. We work so hard for it. Enough is enough. Blaming celebrities for the problem the country is going through is insanity.”
He urged the people to keep praying for the country to get better as “that’s what the country needs now to get out of the quagmire it has found itself.”
