Still on TB Joshua’s Hillary Clinton prophecy

Obviously, many Christians and even some non-Christians were thrown into spiritual disarray over what Prophet T.B  Joshua recently said. It has been a trending issue on the social networks and newspapers, with Nigerians and even foreigners commenting and saying all sorts of words not worth hearing. What even baffles me the most is that most of the so-called Christians gave bizarre comments about this prophecy.  Even Christians meant to be defending their religion kept on   criticising Joshua.

What they keep emphasising is that he said a woman would win the election, so why is it that Donald Trump won instead? This obviously shows the low level of spirituality by hypocritical Nigerians. The Bible says wisdom is the principal thing.

Now, to my objections. Let’s cast our minds to Ezekiel  3:17-21, taking verse 21 into consideration: “Therefore if thou warn the righteous man to sin not..and he doth not sin, he shall live because he is warned. Also, thou shall deliver thy soul.”

Here, at the initial stage, this man was meant to die. But alas, this man changed his ways and he lived. Should the man now call Ezekiel a liar because he  is still alive? Of course not.

In the book of Jonah, God told the people of Nineveh: “Yet forty days and Nineveh will be overthrown.” The people of Nineveh believed God and proclaimed a fast and put on sackcloth. God eventually didn’t destroy Nineveh. Should the people raise an alarm and say Jonah is a liar or that Jonah is a false prophet, just as several people have spoken against TB Joshua? The Bible even went further to say Jonah was grieved. Why? His prophecy didn’t come to pass.

In conclusion, it really hurts me that some so-called pastors and Christians lack the spiritual insight needed for the comprehension of God’s word. Although I am not a member of SCOAN, I only want to make the much needed spiritual common sense
