A leading aviation institute, StayUp Aviation Ltd has completed arrangement to organise the maiden edition of Miss Aviation Nigeria and Miss Aviation Africa in 2019.
The Chief Executive Officer, StayUp Aviation, Mr Kenneth Oudah disclosed in a press release made available to Travelpulse&MICE on Monday.
According to Oudah, “Aviation industry is very important because globally it contributes to economic development and the need to introduce an annual beauty pageant contest as a way to have a face of aviation in Nigeria and Africa.
“The beauty pageant will also be an avenue to enlighten the youths (females) on the prospects of starting a career in aviation related courses as a way to be gainfully employed in the multi-dimensional global industry,” Oudah said.
“Beauty show is relevant in today’s society because of it personality profiling and exposure viz-a-viz allowing the industry to educate and showcase potential and personality. It is a platform to create awareness about a particular sector or industry.

Also, for the contestants, it will be the best avenue to enhance their knowledge, communication and leadership skills.”
Miss Aviation Nigeria will hold in Lagos Nigeria in March 2019 while the African version (Miss Aviation Africa) is slated to hold in Kigali Rwanda in June 2019.
All major airlines (local and international) which are expected to partner with the event will be announced soonest.
“The event will be opened to participants between the ages of 18-26 while registration shall be available online in few days.” Oudah added.
