The National Economic Council(NEC) has given Kwara, Kebbi, Adamawa and the FCT one week to submit their positions on the proposed creation of state police.
The three states and the nation’s capital are the only ones that are yet to do so out of the 36 states.
The deadline was one of the outcomes of the council meeting chaired by Vice President Kashim Shettima at the Presidential Villa, Abuja on Thursday.
Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma, disclosed this while briefing correspondents after the meeting.
