Speaking on this engagement, the Brand and Marketing Director, Qasim Elegbede, noted that the essence of the forum was to celebrate the success of the company’s partners and obtain feedback from participants with a view to serving them better.
‘’This is an acknowledgement of a solid partnership that works. It is our way of celebrating them for constantly dealing with us through the years to this point. We are rewarding our loyal customers who have shown excellence and tenacity in the face of the prevailing economic situation,” he said.
Elegbede, also stated that the forum would hold more frequently because customers’ loyalty to the brand had helped maintain its high position in the market.
“We are leaving no zone behind, our customers across the country will enjoy some of the perks of staying with StarTimes. Our next location will be in the north, where we have a deeply rooted subscriber base mainly because of our rich local content.
“This award is our little way of celebrating you as you have been with us constantly throughout the year. Your loyalty to the brand has helped us to grow and we will continue to celebrate customers who have been there with us,” he said.
One of the customers in attendance who went home with a free 32 inch HD TV, Mr. Tayo Ajagbe thanked the company for inviting him to the forum.
While noting that there were some areas which needed improvement, he said he was generally satisfied with the service, even more so after he emerged winner of a competition which saw him walk away with a TV set.
