The organisers of the Nollywood Recognition Awards (N.R.A) has announced that the 7th edition of the prestigious event will take place in 2025.
The awards which has seen Nollywood veterans such as Sam Dede, Ngozi Ezeonu, Harry B, Labista, Gentle Jack, Ifeanyi Azodo, Anita Joseph, Onyiye Okafor, Jerry Okpan,Mr packaging, etc.
The 7th edition will feature a gala night highlighting the best in Nigerian entertainment, including fashion exhibitions, a pageantry showcase, and a best-dressed award with a prize to be awarded .
The awards proper will follow the next day, celebrating outstanding contributions to the film and television industry.
Categories to be awarded include films, made-for-television movies, and television series produced in Nigeria, as well as skit content publicly exhibited between January 1 and December 1, 2025.
Speaking about the upcoming edition, the founder Document Bishop said, “The N.R.A’s have become a beacon of excellence, celebrating the vibrancy and diversity of Nigerian storytelling. We are excited to once again open the doors for talented creatives within and across the continent to showcase their remarkable work to the world. The 7th edition promises to be spectacular celebration of Nigeria entertainment, giving our creatives their flowers and creating unforgettable memories.
The call for entries is set to open on February 25 and closed on March 26, 2025 ahead of the award ceremony for best actor of the year, best film, best skit, best filmmakers and so on.
